Contrasts: Reduce Spending

October 26, 2011 at 10:30 pm

Both Conservatives and Liberals (Progressives) want to reduce spending.

The difference is in what spending they want to reduce.

Conservatives want to reduce spending by actually cutting the amount of money that the government spends on goods and services (NOTE:  the government has never actually cut spending, but only cut increases in spending).

Liberals (Progressives) want to reduce spending by not allowing American citizens to keep their own money (NOTE:  that’s why they are always concerned with how much tax cuts cost).

Silly Liberals!  Tax cuts don’t cost anything because it’s not the government’s money.
