Day 11 – A book that disappointed you

Look, I read a lot.  Anyone that reads a lot of books is bound to be disappointed occasionally.  Some disappointments are small since we start with small expectations and some are:

I already covered Foundation’s Edge a few days ago and I hate to start repeating myself so soon.

The most recently read book that was incredibly disappointing was a paranormal romance.  That in itself, was not the source of my disappointment.

The stores are currently awash in vampire books of various sorts and I have read a variety of them.  Kerrelyn Sparks writes a fairly decent series of books loaded with humor and action as well as romance.  While the primary vampires are good guys, there are an equal number of “malcontents” that wish to chow down on whomever they please.  Usually her books are interesting, light reading.  Her latest was bad.

It seems that all of her cleverness and creativity were expended on the title.
