All Your Internetz belong to us
Cnet News reports that a new Bill would give the president emergency control of the internet. Interestingly, the response from the deputy communications director for the Senate Commerce Committee claims that the president already has this power and the bill is “… to clarify how the president directs the public-private response to a crisis …” However the primary complaint from the Cnet article is how the language in the bill is too vague and ambiguous. Seems to be the opposite of clarify.
